Azzule Systems Gains GFSI Recognition for PrimusGFS Version 3.2
We are pleased to announce that PrimusGFS version 3.2 has been successfully benchmarked against GFSI’s Guidance Document Version 2020.1.
This recognition is an important tool for our clients in their efforts to continue strengthening their customer relationships. By pursuing PrimusGFS certification and utilizing the Azzule Supply Chain Program, our clients have direct access to promote their food safety commitments and comply with brand, buyer, and regulatory requirements with ease.
Benchmarking is a process where a Certification Program, such as PrimusGFS, is compared to the GFSI Benchmarking Requirements. An application is submitted to GFSI, assessed by an independent benchmark leader, then opened up to a public consultation period for GFSI Stakeholders. A recommendation is then made to the GFSI Steering Committee regarding recognition of the program. A Certification Program is considered ‘recognized’ by GFSI once it’s verified that it meets all GFSI requirements.
Both PrimusGFS v3.1 and v3.2 will be available for use until March 1, 2022 when we will begin exclusively using version 3.2.
