PrimusGFS Recognised against v7.1 of GFSI Benchmarking Requirements

PARIS, 2nd July 2018 – The Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that PrimusGFS has achieved recognition against Version 7.1 of the GFSI Benchmarking Requirements.

GFSI continually evolves its benchmarking requirements to reflect new industry challenges, best practices and stakeholder input. With the publication of version 7.1 in 2017, all recognised CPOs were invited to complete a new benchmarking assessment. This collaborative exercise is one of the key ways in which GFSI ensures that new requirements are implemented throughout the industry to ensure safe food for consumers, everywhere.

First recognised by GFSI in 2010, PrimusGFS has since continued in their efforts to maintain their recognition by working with GFSI and ensure their programmes align to the GFSI Benchmarking Requirements. The success of this long partnership shows the positive impact of CPO engagement in GFSI’s work towards driving continuous improvement in food safety management practices throughout the global supply chain.
